I'm trying to find the joy in Motherhood today. It's been a little tough. Especially when the girls' room looks like this:
The boys room smells like this:
And then I find this on the lamp table in the living room:
Yep, that is PERMANANT marker. On the only piece of furniture that hadn't previously been ruined. I guess I need to be looking more for this kind of thing:

Oh My Gosh!!! So had a day like that too!! Told you, we shoulda gotten pedicures! Maybe then we both would've been a little more relaxed and in a better frame of mind to deal with it... Mani/pedi tomorrow??? :)
I guess something positive about that would be "Look how well Sam printed his name between the lines and everything.Just perfect! Seriously, sorry I love how kids write their names on everything after they learn to write.
Oh my gosh. I feel for you. Sam does have great penmanship though!!!
Wow! I would have seriously freaked out with the whole marker thing! You and Yvette are better people for looking for the good in all the craziness! I just keep reminding my self...they are just things, things, things.
Will a "Magic Eraser" work on permanent marker? I still try to hide any permanent markers in our house. I think Haley's teacher asked for permanent markers and I couldn't bring myself to buy them and send them into the school where I have no control (and she's 11 1/2). Gee, I am a control freak.
He is writing beautifully though :)
I forgot one time Shay wrote her name in permant marker on our stairway and my sister in law told me that the those magic erasers would work to get it off. So I thought what the heck I have nothing to lose. It already looked ruined with her name on it. Anyhow I used it and it took her name off with a minimal amount of damage. Sorry for the novel
I'm so glad to know that you are human and you have normal children. At least it was MARKER, unlike when Aaron CARVED the alphabet into the bunkbed ladder. Yep, it's still there...
